The Senior Presidential Advisor on Political Affairs and head of the Office of the National Chairman (ONC), Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye, has called on Ugandans to celebrate the Easter holiday responsibly, with special focus on personal health, road safety, and national unity.
Speaking to the media from ONC headquarters in Kyambogo, Namyalo urged the public, especially Bazzukulu ba Museveni, to avoid reckless behaviour during this brief festive period, as life is too precious to be taken anyhow.

“Please do not drink and drive. Your life is precious and your family needs you alive,” Namyalo said on Thursday afternoon. “This might seem like a short holiday, but it can cost your life. Let’s enjoy responsibly.”
The ONC boss further cautioned young people against risky sexual behavior, highlighting the continued threat of HIV and other sexually transmitted infections.

“I urge all Bazzukulu to avoid engaging in unprotected sex. HIV is real, and sexually transmitted diseases are there too. Protect yourselves or abstain, your future matters,” she advised.
In a bold political statement as the country readies for the busy 2026 general elections, Hajjat Namyalo criticized opposition figures whom she accused of spreading fear and falsehoods to derail national progress.
“Uganda is a free country. Those who thrive on threats and scaremongering will not derail our mission as Bazzukulu,” Hajjat noted. “Ugandans are smarter than that—they want development, not drama.”
As Chief Muzzukulu, Namyalo emphasized that the Bazzukulu are firmly behind President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s leadership and will not be swayed by what she described as “self-seeking politicians.”
Wrapping up her message, the SPA extended Easter greetings to all Ugandans and called for unity, patriotism, and discipline. “Let us celebrate this Easter in peace and with love for one another. Together, we can build a stronger, more prosperous Uganda.”
