Entebbe Municipality Mayor, Fabrice Rulinda, announced that construction has commenced on vital community projects, including the development of a maternal ward at Kigungu Health Centre III, the establishment of a Youth Centre, the enhancement of Katabi Health Centre and the restoration of a historic block at Chadwick Namate Primary School in Entebbe Municipality.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony for these construction and renovation initiatives, Mayor Fabrice emphasized the Municipality’s commitment to extending service delivery to the people of Entebbe.


The focus lies on improving healthcare and education with special attention to supporting youth initiatives in the region.
Cross-land Construction Co-Limited, headed by Chief Executive Director Kaye Ivan, has been contracted by the municipal council for the renovation of two blocks at Chadwick Namate Primary School.

The six-month project estimated at 69 million shillings aims to revitalize one of the oldest educational institutions in the area.
Kaye Ivan expressed the company’s readiness to employ skilled workers from the local community and commended the municipal council for entrusting them with this significant task.
Counsellor and Chairperson of the Building Committee at Entebbe Municipal Council, Mutebi Nyansio, urged the contracted companies to uphold standards in their work and ensure the judicious use of taxpayer resources.
The infrastructural projects collectively amount to Shs150 million, reflecting a comprehensive effort to rejuvenate aging facilities in Entebbe Sub-district, including schools and health centers established in the 1970s that are now in need of refurbishment.
