President William Ruto, on Thursday, July 11, dissolved his Cabinet, firing 20 Cabinet Secretaries in response to recent public protests. The upheaval led to the complete abandonment of the controversial Finance Bill of 2024.
The President noted that the decision to re-organise his government was informed by the recent public protests that saw him drop the Finance Bill of 2024 in its entirety. Here is the full list of the former CSs.
