The Office of the National Chairman (ONC) Kyambogo on Wednesday joined the people of Luuka District in eastern Uganda to celebrate the country’s 62nd Independence Day themed on the “Recommitment to secure and fortify our destiny“
Representing ONC Manager Hajat Hadijah Namyalo, Hajji Shafic Mwanje, the Director Mobilization presented a host of wealth-creation items to the people of Luuka in an extended empowerment drive.

Among the items given out included sewing machines, popcorn machines, farm sprayers, and hoes, to enable them to become self-reliant and move towards the money economy preached by the President.

While receiving the items on the afternoon, Luuka’s prominent NRM Mobilizer and Woman MP hopeful, Hon. Annet Nabirye expressed her gratitude towards ONC and its Manager Hajjat Namyalo for honouring their invitation and for the efforts in empowering the community.

She urged the beneficiaries to use these items wisely to improve their livelihoods and encouraged them to vote for President Museveni in the upcoming 2026 elections.
In response, the residents who received the items expressed their heartfelt thanks to the National Chairman for considering their needs. They promised to seize this opportunity to better their lives and pledged their unwavering support for President Museveni in the 2026 elections.
Mr Mwanje emphasized that the role of the Office of the NRM National Chairman is not limited to mobilization but extends to ensuring that all Ugandans participate in the money economy through socio-economic transformation. He also took the opportunity to thank Ms. Nabirye Annet for successfully mobilizing such a large crowd.

It should be remembered that since taking over the office in 2022, Hajjat Namyalo has been travelling to various regions across the country, generously donating empowerment items to the Bazzukulu.
In addition to her philanthropic efforts, the workaholic ONC boss has also been encouraging them to support President Museveni in the upcoming elections under the campaign code-named #TovaKuMain2026 which has gained traction and popularity all over social media.
