This afternoon at State House, Entebbe, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni hosted Chief Administrative Officers, Town Clerks and Under Secretaries to address the pressing challenges facing our public service.
Museveni held discussions about the “irritants” undermining effective service delivery—chief among them, corruption in education and healthcare as well as the persistent issue of land grabbing. I reaffirmed the need to enforce the policy of free education in government schools, ensuring that every child, regardless of background, has access to quality learning.

We must also protect the integrity of our health system. Drug theft and malpractice not only erode trust but endanger lives. These injustices must stop.
By championing free education, strengthening healthcare and focusing on wealth creation, we pave the way for real socio-economic transformation. In doing so, we restore public confidence and set our country on a path to lasting progress.
