South Sudan: As hundreds of South Sudanese languish in Ugandan refugee camps in abject poverty, with many having since died due to some factors, children losing their education cycle, young girls and women raped in concentration camps, boys losing their future while engaged in senseless conflicts, there are Generals and very powerful individuals in South Sudan smiling all the way to the banks every day, thanks to the conflict!
These generals won’t mind how their own brothers and sisters’ blood has been shed for nearly decades now, as long as they earn.
According to our sources, feel free to call the following Generals peace spoilers, reaping big from the ongoing and endless conflict:
- Spy Chief Gen Akol Koor Kuc
- Security Advisor NCP Tut Gatluak Manimne
- Dr Martin Elia Lumoro
- Kuol Manyang Juuk
- Gen Simon Yen Makuac of external security. In fact, it is said that Akol Koor is always briefing Dr Riek Machar to sabotage the peace process and as a matter of fact, Machar has since declared that his opposition group has withdrawn from Nairobi’s Tumaini Initiative (Hope Initiative).
General John Garang Sacrifice Betrayed These selfish listed above generals and other powerful people in S Sudan betrayed late Gen John Garang’s dream of one Sudan. They did this through peace meal negotiations that would have them ‘Incorporated’ on the eating table while sacrificing their own suffering masses.
“For as long they were included with their benefits as individuals, they were okay. It didn’t matter whether the majority were catered for, that’s why you have a Riek Marchar vs Salva Kiir etc, and when you hear Riek talking, just know the money hasn’t yet landed on his account,” commented one of the refugees in Uganda on condition of anonymity.
Our sources in Juba also confirmed that the families of all the Generals and powerful people engaged in the conflict are always first ‘secured’ outside the country before declaring war there by unleashing terror on other families without their own. “All these people fighting, their families stay in Uganda, Kenya, France, America, UK, Rome Italy etc. Have you ever heard that a General’s mother or son was killed as they tried to flee?” he posed again.
“Garang never wanted Two Sudanese, he wanted one Sudan, because he was working for peace not for profit,” reminisced the Canadian senior Senator, Mobina Sherali Bandali Jaffer, who led a peace negotiation delegation team from Canada during Garang’s time. Mobina while on a family visit in Uganda had an exclusive interview with our Spy Chief in Kampala last week.
Nairobi Peace Process Foiled
It’s public news now that the Nairobi peace process has for long been frustrated and may never see light thanks to the above-mentioned list who are seeking personal aggrandizement at the cost of a whole youngest country in the world, endowed with mineral resources that can develop its people.
Kenya has been hosting high-level meetings since May between government representatives and rebel opposition groups who were not part of a 2018 agreement that ended a five-year civil war, leaving about 400,000 people dead and millions displaced. Despite the agreement, violence has never stopped occurring in this country of 9 million, of course, it’s now clear that it’s courtesy of the above-mentioned ‘ruthless’-greedy generals.
