President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni had the honor of joining the Rutamwebwa family for a heartfelt thanksgiving ceremony in memory of the late Yoweri and Esta—two pioneers of faith and community.
As we gathered to celebrate their legacy, we also raised funds for Bishop Girls School Rushere in Kiruhura District, a cause dear to their hearts.

Museveni said he especially grateful to their son, Tayebwa, for preserving the values his parents lived by. Next year will mark 60 years since I first met this remarkable couple—an enduring reminder of their impact on both my life and the community.
Museveni encouraged all in attendance to embrace zero-grazing, irrigation and the fight against land fragmentation to secure our milk supply and agricultural future. We remain committed to supporting education and uplifting the legacy of families like the Rutamwebwas.
