Youth MP aspirant for Central Region, Hon. Samuel Begira, has intensified his mobilization efforts, calling on young people to actively participate in the ongoing NRM youth electoral process.
As the official roadmap for the elections rolls out, Begira is urging youth to embrace their civic responsibility and shape the leadership of tomorrow.

According to the NRM Youth Electoral Roadmap, village-level nominations will run from 24th to 30th April, with voting at village level scheduled for 6th May.
Parish-level voting will follow on 12th May, sub county voting on 16th May, municipality level voting on 19th May, and district level voting on 23rd May.

The process will culminate in the NRM delegates’ conference from 22nd to 25th August, where the Youth MP will be elected.

Speaking to a gathering of youth leaders recently, Begira emphasized, “The future belongs to those who prepare for it today. We must show up, nominate, vote, and ensure our voices are heard at every stage.” He urged young people to stay involved from the grassroots village level all the way to the national delegates’ conference.
Begira, who has spent the past two years mobilizing and empowering youth across the Central Region, said the elections offer a historic opportunity for young Ugandans to take ownership of their destiny.
His message “Better Together!” underlines his commitment to unity, inclusion, and building a vibrant youth movement that influences national decisions.
With the critical phases of the electoral process now underway, Samuel Begira’s continued presence on the ground signals a serious and organized campaign, aiming to galvanize youth energy towards a successful 2026-2031 tenure.
