Chief of Defence Forces and Senior Presidential Advisor on Special Operations General Muhoozi Kainerugaba has promoted the following General officers to the Ranks of Acting Major General in line with the new establishment and their flawless track records of excellent service.
- Brigadier General Charles Byanyima to Acting Major General.
- Brigadier General Deus Sande to Acting Major General.
- Brigadier General Daniel Kakono to Acting Major General.
