Renowned Ugandan business tycoon and philanthropist Dr. Sudhir Ruparelia has once again extended his unwavering support to the Pan African Pyramid (PAP), this time by sponsoring the 8th PAP Global Awards 2025 through his Ruparelia Foundation.
According to PAP’s founding Speaker and Chairman, Andrew Irumba Katusabe, the sponsorship was officially received last Monday.
“Yes, he called me and gave me a huge push with some good millions and other privileges. But remember, Dr. Sudhir is a platinum member (the highest category) and has been supporting us since we started. He has indirectly supported our education, debates and refugee projects,” Irumba told our reporter.
The business mogul, who is not only a Platinum Member of PAP, but is also a recipient of the PAP Global Award 2024, has been a consistent backer of PAP’s mission, especially in areas of youth empowerment and education.
His sponsorship will significantly boost preparations for this year’s edition of the PAP Global Awards, scheduled to take place on August 30, 2025, at Fairway Hotel in Kampala, where he will also serve as Guest of Honor.
A Brief History of the Pan African Pyramid (PAP)
Founded in 2014, PAP is a non-governmental Pan-African organization based in Uganda. It is best known for reviving the Pan-African spirit of unity, self-determination, and ideological awareness through weekly debates, public dialogues, youth mentorship, and humanitarian projects.
With the slogan “Don’t Agonize, Organize”, PAP has become a continental thought leader and incubator of Pan-African ideology, especially among African youth. Over the years, the organization has grown into an influential platform attracting intellectuals, policy makers, diplomats, and Afro-centric change-makers across Africa and the diaspora.

The PAP Global Awards were introduced in 2018 to honor individuals and institutions across the globe that exemplify Pan-African excellence, Afrocentric innovation, and African unity.
