Hajjat HadijaH Namyalo, head of the Office of the National Chairman (ONC),NRM, attended the annual Convention of Ugandans in South Africa (COUSA) as part of her continued drive to empower Ugandans in the diaspora.
Held in Pretoria, the convention brought together hundreds of Ugandans living in South Africa to discuss matters of unity, development, and national identity.

In her address, Namyalo encouraged Ugandans to remain connected to their roots and take advantage of government programs aimed at youth and women empowerment. She emphasized the importance of patriotism, economic independence, and contributing to Uganda’s socio-economic transformation.

Namyalo also highlighted the role of the diaspora in promoting Uganda’s image and supporting its development agenda.
Her presence was warmly received, with many participants applauding her for prioritizing diaspora engagement. The event served as a platform to strengthen ties between the NRM and Ugandans abroad.
