Louis Kimuli, an aspirant for the National Resistance Movement (NRM) Youth Member of Parliament seat for the Central Region, is ramping up his campaign across the region with a powerful focus on youth empowerment and job creation.
He is actively traversing districts within the Central Region, rallying delegates and youth leaders, engaging communities, and seeking broader support ahead of the crucial August delegates’ conference scheduled to take place at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds.

Kimuli has been and still having interactive sessions with local youth, listening to their frustrations with past representatives and pledging to be a listening, action‑oriented leader. He also emphasises that the youth are “the backbone of our country” and promised to create opportunities through empowerment and strategic networking.

Demonstrating his community engagement, Kimuli also showed support for health and fitness by donating kits worth UGX 4 million to the Kabaka’s Birthday Run—an event promoting HIV/AIDS awareness and community health .His action was lauded by Owek Robert Sserwanga from the Buganda Kingdom, who encouraged other leaders to emulate the gesture.
Kimuli says his campaign is more than a personal ambition—it’s a mission. He plans to champion policies around youth unemployment, entrepreneurship development, and increased access to government initiatives like Emyooga and the Youth Livelihood Programme.
As the August delegates’ conference at Kololo approaches, Kimuli’s visible advocacy for youth interests and social initiatives positions him as a credible and passionate youth leader in the Central Region. His emphasis on empowerment, community health, and grassroots mobilization are gaining traction among delegates and young voters alike.
