The Head of the Office of the National Chairman (ONC), Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye, has tasked women across the country to stand firm in mobilization and remain the guardians of the progress achieved under the leadership of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
Hajjat Namyalo made the comments this evening while attending the NRM Women’s League National Prayers at Hotel La Vena, Seguku Katale along Entebbe road.

The special prayers were organized by Adrine Kobusingye the newly elected National Chairperson of the NRM Women’s League and have attracted women leaders and Chairpersons from all corners of Uganda.
Speaking to the gathering, Hajjat Namyalo commended Adrine for championing the cause of women’s welfare and empowerment, noting that her leadership comes at a critical time when women are expected to play an even greater role in nation building.
“I thank our sister Adrine Kobusingye for taking on this noble responsibility of leading women and advocating for their empowerment. I also thank all women who continue to stand with President Museveni. Your support is the backbone of the Movement, and together we shall secure victory come 2026,” Hajjat Namyalo said.
She further emphasized that women must unite and possess strength to champion socio-economic transformation and political stability.

”Let us remain united and unshakable. When women come together with one voice, we not only transform our families and society, but we also secure Uganda’s political future,” she added.
On her part, Adrine expressed gratitude to the women for entrusting her with the leadership of the NRM Women’s League. She pledged to work tirelessly in mobilization and ensure that women’s voices are fully represented.

“I want to sincerely thank you, my fellow women, for trusting me with this great responsibility. Together, we shall keep our league strong, protect the gains we have achieved, and rally behind President Museveni for continued transformation,” Adrine said.

As women of the movement, we are ready to mobilize from the grassroots up. Our strength lies in unity, and we shall deliver victory for President Museveni,” Adrine pledged.
The evening prayers are being held ahead of President Museveni’s official nomination tomorrow, with participants reaffirming their commitment to safeguarding the gains of peace, security, and development that the country has realized under his leadership.

At the same event, Speaker of Parliament Anita Among, the newly elected 2nd National Vice Chairperson of NRM (Female), boosted the NRM Women’s League SACCO with an additional UGX 180 million, bringing the total to UGX 300 million after another member had earlier raised UGX 120 million.
”We recognise the significant contributions of H.E. towards women’s empowerment and the establishment of frameworks that have enabled women in this country to thrive. I am thankful to the leadership of the Women’s League for their efforts to unify their membership and implement economic empowerment programs that foster growth and entrepreneurship” the Speaker said.
Under the theme “All Women for Museveni – Small Things Must Change,” the NRM Women’s League has rallied behind the President, sending a strong message of unity, faith, and determination as Uganda prepares for the 2026 elections.
