Uganda Embassy in Germany has launched a mass registration exercise for Ugandans living in the country to obtain or renew their National Identity Cards.
The exercise was officially opened by Ambassador Stephen Mubiru, who welcomed the National Identification and Registration Authority (NIRA) team and encouraged all Ugandans in Germany to take advantage of the opportunity.
The registration will be conducted in Berlin and five other major cities — Cologne, Munich, Frankfurt, Hamburg and Nuremberg.
