It was glitz, glamour, and pure Ugandan pride on Saturday night as Uganda and East Africa’s most celebrated hip-hop icon, Daniel Kigozi popularly known as Navio, held his first-ever Music Orchestra Concert at the Kampala Serena Hotel — marking a decade of dominance in the hip-hop and entertainment industry.
Among the high-profile guestson the night was the Manager of the Office of the National Chairman (ONC)–Kyambogo, SPA/PA Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye, who lit up the evening with her charismatic presence and energetic vibe.

Hajjat Namyalo, popular as Chief Muzzukulu who last month rallied support for the hiphop legend was the center of excitement as cameras captured her live, vibing to Navio’s timeless hits like Njogereza, Ngalo, Nawuliranga, among others, drawing applause and cheers from the crowd.

In one of the night’s most heartwarming moments, Hajjat was called upon to lead the audience in singing Happy Birthday to one of the guests, and guess what, she left the entire Serena auditorium mesmerized as she sang the song with a sweet, melodious voice that had many in disbelief of her hidden vocal talent.

The concert, a first-ever Orchestra Hip-Hop Experience in Kampala, delivered a breathtaking fusion of live instrumentation and Ugandan rap, featuring stunning performances from Benon of Swangz Avenue, Michael Viboyo, The Mith, Big Trill, Babaluku, Eddy Kenzo, Cindy Sanyu, and Levixone, among others.

The night was more than a celebration of music; it was a statement of unity, empowerment, and the power of Ugandan talent — one that perfectly resonated with Hajjat Namyalo’s message of uplifting Bazzukulu and protecting the creative gains under Jajja H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s vision.
