Excitement is building up in Teso sub-region as the Office of the National Chairman (ONC), led by SPA/PA Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo, prepares for the highly anticipated Soroti Empowerment Outreach happening this Friday, April 4, 2025, at Katine Sub County Headquarters in Dakabela County, Soroti District.
The grand empowerment initiative, themed “Preaching the Musevenomics Gospel of Wealth Creation,” is aimed at fostering economic empowerment and networking among the Bazzukulu while encouraging them to embrace wealth creation and other government programs like Emyooga, Parish development model(PDM), Four acre model among others.

Under the directives of President Museveni, ONC has played a pivotal role in grassroots empowerment and sustainable development by providing wealth creation tools across the country.
Soroti will be no exception, as the office will distribute essential empowerment tools, including brick-laying machines, hoes, ox ploughs, sprayers, carpentry tools, charcoal stoves, salon dryers, shaving machines, welding machines, tailoring machines, hand dryers, frying pans, mechanic toolboxes among others.

The event will also bring together renowned artists, including city rapper Gravity, Josh Rush, Vin Jaguar, and Chan Lee, who will entertain Bazzukulu ba Museveni with top notch performances.
Beyond music and entertainment, the outreach will serve as a platform for discussions on economic empowerment, networking opportunities, and access to resources to drive self-sufficiency among Ugandans.
Impact of Hajjat Namyalo’s Empowerment Initiatives
Under Hajjat Namyalo’s stewardship, ONC has spearheaded several empowerment programs across the country, transforming countless lives through entrepreneurship, vocational training, and financial literacy campaigns.
From youth and women empowerment drives to agricultural support initiatives, her leadership has been instrumental in ensuring Ugandans harness available opportunities for self-reliance.
Hajjat Namyalo’s initiatives have achieved significant milestones in grassroots empowerment across Uganda. Thousands of youths have been equipped with vocational skills, enabling them to start their own businesses and combat unemployment.
Women in various regions have gained access to start-up capital, business mentorship and cooperative programs designed to enhance financial independence. In the agricultural sector, farmers have benefited from improved seeds, modern farming tools and agribusiness training to boost food security and economic stability.
Additionally, small business owners have received additional income generating tools to sustain and grow their enterprises, further driving economic empowerment and self-reliance.
After Soroti, ONC will spread to other areas to drive its mission of wealth creation, reinforcing NRM government’s vision of economic prosperity for all.
