Today the Rt. Hon. Anite Annet Among has convened thousands of the people of Bugweri District in Idudi T/C to rally support for President Museveni. Speaker Among doubling as the 2nd National Female Vice Chairperson of the NRM rallied the people of Bugweri District to again mobilize support towards the NRM and President Museveni in particular.
Among explained that “despite the challenges being faced by the NRM government, there are key milestones scored to transform the social livelihoods of the peasants through UPE, USE, road infrastructure and the Parish Development that are enabling a rapid transformation of Households into the money economy”.
Bugweri District curved out of Iganga District in 2018 after lobby from formidable personalities like the late Haji Kirunda Kiveijinja is among the strong bases of President Museveni’s support to date .
The event was attended by several members of parliament; the Hon. Ssentaayi Muhammed of Bukoto West, Hon. Racheal Magoola DWR Bugweri District, Hon Daudi Kabanda Kasambya County etc.
She will continue to traverse other parts of mainly Busoga and Teso.
The long missing President Museveni’s formidable mobilization office headed by SPA Hadijah Namyalo has again been cited on this rally after Mayuge historical rally held yesterday.
