Preparations for the maiden visit and launch of Bazzukulu empowerment in Kiryandongo District have intensified massively ahead of the grand launch of Office of the National Chairman (ONC)’s Bazzukulu Empowerment Drive slated for tomorrow, Friday, April 26, at Bweyale Primary School Grounds.
The event, at which SPA Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo will be the Chief Guest, is part of her countrywide tour and empowerment of Bazzukulu with wealth-creation tools and startup capital items.
Preparations on ground have already been embraced by thousands of supporters especially the Bazzukulu from Bunyoro Subregion who have joined and mobilization team and tomorrow’s grand launch will just be an icing on the cake.
Earlier today, the ONC Mobilization team headed by Hajj Shafiq Mwanje and his deputy Kalema George William, alongside several regional and district coordinators held a stakeholder meeting with leaders at Bweyale town council in Kiryandongo, including the RDC Mr Dan Muganga with the aim of mobilizing masses to turn up in big numbers for tomorrow’s event.
In a bid to boost the event, the RDC Mr Muganga delivered a cash contribution of Shs 3 million to the ONC Coordinator for Kiryandongo District, Ms Irene Adokorach.
Mr Muganga said the amount was collected from well-wishers in Kiryandongo, among whom included CMI Boss, Maj James Birungi to boost the empowerment activity.
The RDC later flagged off the sensitization team of ONC Coordinators and Kiryandongo district leaders to traverse through the district and neighbouring areas alerting the masses about the main event set for tomorrow and further assured them of tight security through out the function.
The Chief Muzzukulu will donate a variety of startup capital items to the Bazzukulu in a move aimed at developing the culture of entrepreneurship to enable them enter into the money economy which the President preaches about.
The theme of the Bunyoro event is “The Youth Agenda Kiryandongo – Skilling and Empowering the Youth”
The Workaholic ONC Boss who is on a national mission of spreading the gospel of wealth creation and self-empowerment is expected to hand over items such as sewing machines, popcorn machines, and hair dryers.
Other items to be given out will include; hair-cutting machines, hoes, seeds, fertilizers, sprayers, slashers, and grinding machines among others to the youth and women groups.
Hajat Namyalo is expected to officially endorse the #JajjaTovaKuMain campaign at the same event, and call upon Kiryandongo people to rally behind President Museveni in the 2026 general elections.
