Those walking should doing so while in the opposite side of the road, so that they can see oncoming motor vehicles, travel in groups, walk in a row, wear jackets or eye catching clothes, keep an eye on their belongings despite the solidarity, companionship and fraternity, and do not carry large amounts of money, just little money for occasional expenses.
